Alisa is currently a senior majoring in Environmental Science. During her time in SENR, she has been involved in GIVE at OSU and has researched the effects of eDNA on common mudpuppies in Alum Creek, Ohio. After graduation, Alisa plans to find a job in ecosystem restoration.

Environmental Policy and Decision Making ‘23
Environmental and Social Sustainability Lab 

Aurora is currently a third year majoring in Environmental Policy and Decision Making. During her time in SENR, she has been involved in the Undergraduate Student Government, worked for the OSU Sustainability Institute and participated in research with Dr. Robyn Wilson on farmer land use decisions in the great lakes basin. After graduation, Aurora plans to become an environmental lawyer working at the federal level.

Tonra Lab of Avian Ecology, Southern Sierra Research Station, & Montana Fish and Wildlife Co-op

Gautam is currently a senior majoring in Forestry, Fisheries, and Wildlife. During his time in SENR, he has been involved in the Ornithology Club and participated in research through the Tonra Lab of Avian Ecology, the Southern Sierra Research Station in California, and the Montana Cooperative Wildlife Research Unit. After graduation, Gautam plans to work as a wildlife field ecologist.

Forestry, Fisheries, & Wildlife ‘22
The Gray Lab: Aquatic Physiological Ecology

Katherine is currently a senior majoring in Forestry, Fisheries, & Wildlife with a specialization in Fisheries & Wildlife. During her time in SENR, she has been involved in the Best Food Forward organization, the OSU chapter of the Fish and Wildlife Society, and the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation. She also participated in research focused on how increasing nutrient inputs in water affected the foraging success of Ohio Sunfish by reducing water clarity. After graduation, Katherine is interested in pursuing a career focusing on research, specifically aquatic animals.

Honors Program & NASA Student Airborne Research Program

Kylie is currently a senior majoring in Environmental Science with a specialization in Water Science. During her time in SENR, she has been involved in Mount Scholars and participated in research through the Honors program and the NASA Student Airborne Research Program. After graduation, Kylie plans to pursue a Ph.D. and be a professor.

Lily is currently a junior majoring in Communications. During her time at OSU, she has been involved in the Mountaineers and SIERRA Clubs and participated in research with Dr. Kerry Ard. After graduation, Lily plans to go out West to work in the environmental sector.

Shanvanth is currently a senior majoring in Environmental Science with a specialization in Water Science. During his time in SENR, he has been involved in several activities, including the Buckeye Leadership Fellowship and being the board president of Leadership of Environmental Athletes for Sustainability (LEAFS). He has also participated in lab research work focused on biomedical nutrition and developmental psychology. After graduation, Shanvanth plans to take a gap year for a research fellowship and then pursue a PhD program at OSU.
