Below is a general timeline of how your senior year will progress, as well as the requirements you must meet, as you make your way towards graduating with Honors Research Distinction:
- Apply to Graduate one year prior to your term of graduation
- Submit Honors Research Progress Report in autumn of your senior year
- Establish Honors Thesis Committee early in your term of graduation
- Establish Date for Presentation & Oral Defense early in your term of graduation
- Submit Graduation Checklist by the 10th Friday of your term of graduation
- Complete Thesis
- Complete Presentation & Oral Defense (Oral Examination Report due to Renee Johnston 3 weeks before Commencement Day)
- Submit thesis to OSU Knowledge Bank by 5pm on the last day of classes of your term of graduation

- You must have obtained a minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA
- You must have obtained a minimum 3.5 major GPA
- Graduate with Honors Research Distinction!
