Sustainable Agriculture Minor

The minor in Sustainable Agriculture introduces the students to several dimensions of sustainable agriculture.  The two required courses challenge the student to think synthetically about the production/environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainable agriculture while also providing first hand experience in balancing the various goals of sustainability via association with planning and executing the student farm at Ohio State.  Students are also expected to probe the various dimensions of sustainability in more depth by taking an additional course in the production/environmental dimensions, social dimension and economic dimension, for a total of at least 15 units.
