Scholarships through the School of Environment and Natural Resources
We are proud to have so many high-achieving students in the School of Environment and Natural Resources and we award as many scholarships as possible. SENR offers scholarships that support students' pursuit of experiential learning and rewards high academic achievement.
How to Apply - NEW for 2026!
To be considered for SENR scholarships, students will apply through Scholarship Universe. Once you have created a profile you will also submit the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences in addition to the SENR applications within Scholarship Universe. There will be a new SENR Experiential Learning scholarship application (separate from Scholarship Universe) that will be available January 1, 2026. Check back for additional details.
TIMELINE:

December 1, 2025: Scholarship Universe is available - all SENR students are encouraged to apply!
- February 15th, 2026: Application deadline
- January, 2026: New incoming first year students notified about SENR Scholarships
- May, 2026: Current students notified about CFAES and SENR Scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year
Scholarships from Outside Organizations
Several outside governmental, non-profit, and professional organizations offer scholarship money to students in Environment and Natural Resource-related fields. When such scholarships are available, you will find links on our current scholarship opportunities page!
