Scholarships through the School of Environment and Natural Resources

We are proud to have so many high achieving students in the School of Environment and Natural Resources and we award as many scholarships as possible. Scholarships through SENR are based on academic record, leadership skills, financial need, and major. Our scholarships are awarded during spring semester for the following academic year.

How to Apply

Submit the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences scholarship application.  Click here for more information and to access the application.  The application goes live on October 1, 2019.

The deadline to apply for scholarship consideration for the 20-21 academic year is February 15.  For returning students, awards will be made by the SENR Scholarship Committee during the month of April.  Students awarded a scholarship will be notified by letter from the Chair of the Scholarship Committee in early May.  For new incoming freshmen, you will be notified by early April.

Financial Aid

Our College (CFAES) has helpful tips and information on financial aid.  You can find financial aid information here.  Dr. Pat Whittington, Assistant Dean, manages scholarships and financial aid for CFAES and is available to answer your questions.

Scholarships from Outside Organizations

Several outside governmental, non-profit, and professional orginaztions offer scholarship money to students in Environment and Natural Resource-related fields. When such scholarships are available, you will find links in the sidebar to the right.
